Southside Water Tank

Construction is underway on a new water storage tank to serve the southern side of Spring Hill.

The 2-million-gallon Southside Water Tank is being built by CB&I Storage Tank Solutions for a total cost of $6,389,240.00. This follows the demolition of the previous tank, which was completed by Freedom Rolloff's, LLC for a total of $42,000.

Funding for the project will come from the Fiscal Year 2025 budgeted funds of $2,674,269.00 and Fiscal Year 2026 funds of $4,400,095.00.

The project was approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) at the August 5, 2024 meeting.

Construction began in August 2025 and is expected to be fully wrapped up in 2026.
