Paving Projects 24-25

On August 5, 2024, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) voted to approve a list of paving projects for Fiscal Year 2025.

Rogers Group was selected to carry out the paving projects across the city. With a 10% contingency included, the total cost was estimated at $3,844,983.73, which is being paid for with $2,300,000.00 from the State Street Aid Fund and $1,544,983.73 from the General Fund.

The following neighborhoods were included in this round of repaving:

• Wakefield
• Lexington Farms
• Spring Meadow
• Tanyard Springs
• Newport Crossing
• Rutherford Place
• Winter Park
• Maplelawn
• Tom Lunn Rd
• Mahlon Moore Rd
• Mitchum Rd
• Royal Park Rd
• Weaver Farms

These areas were identified as a result of an annual assessment by Spring Hill Public Works, examining all roads in the city:

The streets chosen for repaving fall under the very poor and/or poor category.

Any remaining funds from these projects will be used for miscellaneous paving projects that need to be repaired throughout FY 2025.
