Fire Station No. 4

On March 18, 2024, the Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) voted to approve a contract between the City of Spring Hill and Chris Woods Construction Company to begin the construction of Fire Station No. 4 — the Mitchell Earwood Memorial Station. On July 15, 2024, a total amount of $10,500,000 was approved by BOMA for the project.

Below is a rendering of the planned site.

The station is named in honor of former Spring Hill Firefighter Mitchell Earwood, who tragically lost his life in a weather-related incident on May 3, 2020. The Spring Hill Fire Department will proudly display Mitchell's fire gear near the entryway of Fire Station No. 4 once it is completed.

The fire station will take an estimated 12-14 months to complete and should be up and running in late 2025.
