The City of Spring Hill Building Codes and Inspection Department provides building inspection services to assure compliance with the 2018 International Residential Code. 

Mission Statement

The mission of the City of Spring Hill Building Department is to safeguard the public health, safety, preserve quality of life and contribute to economic development by orderly processing of permit applications and subsequent inspections for all building activity within the community’ by monitoring the compliance with the standards of the adopted codes.   This mission is fulfilled by: 1) the issuance of permits, monitoring all building activity by construction inspections. 2.) Responding to complaints for violations of the Municipal, Property Maintenance or series of adopted Building and Life Safety Codes. 3.) Validating the conformance to the, National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulations and City of Spring Hill Unified Development Code (UDC). 

Commercial Plans Submittal

In order to submit Commercial Plans, please send us an email with a completed application and a digital set including MEP's. Those can be emailed, provided through a link, or a USB drive can be sent to our address in the "Contact Us" section located in the sidebar to the right.

Please email all inspections to the Codes office.
