This Jr. Citizens' Academy is for adolescents in the 13-18 age range. The City of Spring Hill wants to allow opportunities for middle school and high school aged kids to experience the Citizens' Academy curriculum. These educational opportunities can feature presentations from the City Administration at City Hall, or we can tailor a class to fit your groups interests/needs.
This program is open to all schools, youth clubs, and homeschool groups in the community. Multiple groups may be scheduled for the same time slot, depending on availability of City facilities and scheduling for City Staff.
As this program is specifically for kids, we ask that the chaperones leading each group properly prepare your participants prior. Please allow the kids participating to ask questions and be involved in the discussion.
