August 3, 2019, 7:00 AM @ Rippavilla Plantation
The Spring Hill Parks & Recreation Department, Rippavilla Plantation, and The American Cancer Society have collaborated on Rippin’ Run to promote healthy living and community in the Spring Hill area. The Aug. 3 mud run also fiscally benefits Rippavilla and the American Cancer Society. The mission is to encourage families to engage in an active lifestyle while having the opportunity to learn more about two charities that make a local impact every day.
Sponsored by the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, Rippin' Run includes a family-friendly 5K mud run and a one-mile family friendly mud run. Both runs span across historic Rippavilla Plantation. Throughout the course, runners will undertake obstacle courses ending with a mudslide to the finish line! Rippin’ Run also features a kiddy challenge held in the Kids Zone that includes a run featuring a child friendly obstacle course, chalk art stations, and a petting zoo!
