City offices closed for Thanksgiving

All City of Spring Hill offices, including the library and police administrative offices, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. All Waste Management garbage and recycling collection routes in Spring Hill will be delayed by one day on Thursday and Friday the week of Thanksgiving. Routes on Monday-Wednesday will remain the same. For example, if your trash or recycling collection route falls on Thursday, Nov. 27, it will be picked up Friday, Nov. 28, instead. If it falls on Friday, it will be picked up Saturday. As usual, as Waste Management finishes its routes each day, the trucks will often go ahead and pick up any trash cans already placed at the curb for the following day in an effort to try to get ahead to make up for the lost pickup day. However, the one-day delayed collection route will be run on the same streets again the next day.
