Spring Hill residents encouraged to attend South Corridor Study community meetings

South Corridor Study meetings announced

The next round of community outreach meetings for the South Corridor Transportation Study will be Aug. 26-29, 2019, in various locations throughout the South Corridor, including Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin and Columbia.

These open house-style meetings will provide project background, a summary of the first round of public engagement and input, and the initial findings for preliminary mass transit opportunities. Information about each of these public meetings also will be posted on our City of Spring Hill Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/cityofspringhill

Your input into this project is very important, as it will have a significant long-term impact on Spring Hill's future as it relates to opportunities to potentially adopt new methods of mass transit to help address our growing traffic congestion.

There will be refreshments, interactive stations, and activities for the kids at each of the public meetings. So, pick which meeting location works best for you, bring a friend, neighbor, coworker and/or your family, and get involved in something that will truly impact everyone in middle Tennessee!

The South Corridor Community Open House Meetings will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on:

- Aug. 26: Development Services Center Conference Room, 1st floor, Metro Office Building, 800 2nd Ave. South, Nashville

- Aug. 27: John P. Holt Brentwood Library, 8109 Concord Road, Brentwood

- Aug. 28: Brookdale Senior Living, 910 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin

- Aug. 29: Memorial Building, 308 W. 7th St., Columbia
