Library receives $10,000 State appropriation for 2020 Summer Reading Pilot Program

Spring Hill Public Library receives ten thousand dollar State Appropriation for Summer Reading Pilot

Spring Hill Public Library has been chosen for an exciting Summer Reading Pilot Program that will be offered statewide in 2021! State Rep. Scott Cepicky on June 12 presented a $10,000 check from the State of Tennessee to fund the pilot program!

Our outstanding Spring Hill Library annually hosts one of the most popular Summer Reading Programs around, which is going on right now, and this State appropriation will allow our library to offer larger prizes during its 2020 Summer Reading competitions, as well as to fund related Summer Reading software and programs. The funding will be used as a pilot program in 2020 with the intentions of presenting the resulting Summer Reading programming to the Tennessee Library Association to duplicate the program statewide in 2021. Thank you to everyone involved who helped to make this possible!
