$25K in Pay It Forward Festival proceeds presented to local nonprofits

Pay It Forward Festival presents checks to nonprofits

Spring Hill Fresh, organizer of the annual Spring Hill Pay It Forward Festival, and the festival’s title sponsor, GM/UAW, recently presented $25,350 in festival proceeds to three local nonprofits, including $1,000 to The Well Outreach, $3,000 to Maury County Boy's & Girl's Club, and $21,350 to The Tennessee Children's Home.
The 2017 Pay It Forward Festival, a positive all-day event that encourages the community to “Live forward, Give forward, and Pay it forward," was held in August around the Children’s Home lake.
The presentation of charitable funds made on Thursday, Nov. 16, included Mike Herron, Chairman of the UAW Local 1853; Tim Stannard, President of the UAW Local 1853; Rachael and Hazel Nieves, with Spring Hill Fresh; Robyn Perry, CEO of Maury County Boys & Girls Club; Arica Robinson, Community Ambassador for The Well Outreach (not pictured); Trent Alexander, Director of Maintenance at the Tennessee Children's Home; Bill Alsup, retired Director of Development and Community Education for the Children’s Home; Mike Yuhas, Director of the Children's Home; and Brian King, president of the Children's Home.
