Post-election: Four aldermen honored for years of dedicated public service

Aldermen recognized

Mayor Rick Graham at the Monday night BOMA meeting presented four plaques of appreciation to outgoing aldermen and praised them generously for their unwavering service. Congratulations to Brandon McCulloch, Kayce Williams, Keith Hudson and Jonathan Duda for your years of hard work and dedicated public service!

Brandon McCulloch had served past terms as both mayor and alderman, and was again unanimously appointed Nov. 21 by the BOMA to fulfill the unexpired term of the Ward 4 alderman seat vacated by Mrs. Kayce Williams, who accepted a City of Spring Hill staff position as the economic development coordinator. Alderman-elect Vincent Fuqua will fill the Ward 4 seat.

Ward 2 Alderman Jonathan Duda served 12 years on the board, and Ward 3 Alderman Keith Hudson served eight years. Mr. Hudson and Mr. Duda will be leaving the board this month after being defeated in the April 13 election, respectively, by Jeff Graves and Kevin Gavigan.

The three newly elected aldermen, along with Mayor Graham and Ward 1 Alderman Amy Wurth, who won re-election in an unopposed race, will be sworn in at 6 p.m. April 26 at Spring Hill City Hall.
