On Tuesday, April 4, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will begin milling and paving 5 miles of U.S. 31 through Spring Hill. The work is expected to be complete some time in May, depending on weather conditions.
The work will start just north of Duplex Road in Spring Hill and move north to the end of TDOT's road widening project south of Mars Petcare in Thompson's Station.
All of the work, with the exception of installing safety guardrails and ADA-compliant ramps, will be done at night from the south end through Buckner Road. All of the work north of Buckner will be done during the day.
