Parker Esposito Praised for Eagle Scout Project Benefitting City Residents

Spring Hill Eagle Scout candidate Parker Esposito received thanks and praise from city officials for his recently completed Eagle project during this week’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting.

Joined by his parents and Eagle Scout brother, Esposito was applauded for recruiting and leading fellow scouts to plan, build and help raise funds for a new story trail on the walking trail in Fisher Park near Port Royal. The project includes 14 post-and-panel story boards.

City of Spring Hill Library director Dana Juriew and Parks and Recreation Department director Kayce Williams were among Esposito’s project advisors. The Eagle Scout candidate and his family were invited to attend the public meeting by Mayor Jim Hagaman.

“Congratulations to Parker Esposito for the approval and completion of his outstanding Eagle project,” Hagaman said.

Alderman William Pomeroy, an Eagle Scout, also praised Esposito. “Becoming an Eagle Scout is a great accomplishment, and I know it took a lot to get to this point.”
