[ARCHIVED] BOMA Meeting to be held virtually in compliance with Gov. Lee's EO 70

Gov Lee

Governor Bill Lee issued Executive Order No. 70 this evening, limiting gatherings of people to 10 people or less to combat the surge in COVID-19 cases in Tennessee. To comply with the Order the Board of Mayor and Aldermen voting meeting scheduled for 7 pm at City Hall on Monday, Dec. 21st (tomorrow) will instead be held virtually and will be live-streamed as usual on the City website. All other public meetings scheduled for the next thirty days will also be held virtually. The Order is effective immediately and lasts until January 19th at 11:59 pm. In his public statement which was broadcast at 7 pm on Sunday evening, Governor Lee referred to Tennessee as "ground zero" and urged the public to adhere to CDC guidelines by wearing a mask in public and staying at least 6 feet apart from others without having to issue a mandate.
