[ARCHIVED] Waste Management to Resume Trash Pickup Monday, Plan in Place for Extra Trash

Waste Management Truck

Due to weather conditions, Waste Management will not be servicing Spring Hill residents through the end of this week. They plan to resume normal services on Monday.
Many of you have reached out, asking what to do about the extra trash you have accumulated. Waste Management is asking residents to maximize the use of their WM Cart. This will improve their ability to provide all residents their scheduled service.
Waste Management drivers will also be taking bagged trash placed adjacent to the cart(s).  The bagged trash needs to be accessible and under 30 lbs. The bags need to be standard household garbage bags (not grocery bags, etc).
Loose items or personal containers will not be collected. Move out/Clean out piles and bulk items will not be collected.
Recycling will resume regularly scheduled services on Monday. Materials must be placed within the cart.
The City and Waste Management appreciate your cooperation this week. Please do all you can to ensure workers can safely collect your trash and recyclables in the upcoming week.
