Library Art Displays

We're proud to showcase our community artists' work within the library. We have three areas for displays: the Adult Art Wall, the Youth Art Wall, and the Display Case. Art displays we've had in the past include photography, paintings, macrame, quilted squares, pen & ink, charcoal drawings, origami, and sculptures. We have an enclosed display case for art that cannot hang.

If you'd like to learn more about our art display opportunities, please contact Jessica Joy, Teen & Outreach Coordinator, at jjoy@springhilltn.org. To have your artwork considered for display, email her your name, age group (adult or youth), and a couple of images of your artwork. Once your information is reviewed and deemed eligible, the library will email you possible display times and a Memorandum of Understanding for you to complete and send back. We encourage each artist to provide an artist statement and photograph of yourself to include with the art display.

Requirements

The art will be on display for two months.

Adult artists that display on the Adult Art Wall are required to teach one adult art class at the library for free. The library will provide the materials for the class.

Purchasing information and art price tags are not permitted due to library policy, but you're welcome to have business cards at your display.
