The United States Tennis Association, the national governing body for tennis in the U.S., has chosen Spring Hill as the home to its newest regional headquarters. The project, being developed by Southstar, will take place in The Crossings and will include extending Crossings Boulevard to Kedron Road to help the flow of traffic to the area.

With an estimated groundbreaking in Spring 2024, the mixed-use development will feature a 136,000-square-foot tennis facility — housing 12 indoor tennis courts, 25 outdoor tennis courts, and 24 pickleball courts.
The facility is projected to host 24 tournaments per year. The economic impact of the facility is estimated at $140 million over 20 years in sales, hotel, and other taxes.

The project also includes 600,000 square feet of commercial space, as well as 1,000 hotel rooms, a 17.37-acre recreational area, and approximately 2,150 residential dwelling units.
In total, this is a $30 million capital investment into the City of Spring Hill.
