Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline – No one has the right to hurt you. This website provides access to information, education, and emotional support in a safe and confidential environment. Call or text 800-422-4453, or online chat.
Community Resource Map – Spring Hill Library staff have created a Google Map of community nonprofits, social services, and other resources located in Maury and Williamson Counties.
Gale Health and Wellness – Provides information on a full range of health-related issues, from current disease and disorders to in-depth coverage of alternative and complementary medical practices.
LGBT National Help Center – Offers a confidential safe space where youth can find support, information, and local resources. LGBT National Youth Talkline 800-246-7743 available Monday-Friday from 3pm-11pm, CT and Saturday from 11am-4pm, CT.
Love is Respect – 24/7 access to resources and support specifically aimed at teen and young adult relationships. Chat online, call 866-331-9474, or text "LOVEIS" to 22522. Partner of National Domestic Violence Hotline.
NAMI HelpLine – Free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals, and support to people living with a mental health condition, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers, and the public. The NAMI HelpLine is not a crisis line or suicide prevention line. Available Monday through Friday, 9am-9pm, CT. Call 1-800-950-NAMI (6264), text "HelpLine" to 62640, or email at helpline@nami.org.
988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline – 988 is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support for suicide, mental health, and substance use-related crises or any kind of emotional distress. Call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org 24/7.
RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline – No matter what stage of recovery you’re at, confidential and anonymous support is available 24/7 for survivors & loved ones. Call 800-656-HOPE and talk to a trained staff member or connect with a local sexual assault service provider. Online chat one-on-one with a trained support specialist at online.rainn.org.
Tennessee Statewide Crisis Line – If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call 855-CRISIS-1 (855-274-7471) OR text “TN” to 741-741. Available 24/7. All calls are routed to a trained crisis counselor in your area, who will provide you support and guidance, and work to connect you with appropriate community supports. This service is free!
The Trevor Project Crisis Counseling – Offers immediate, free, confidential support. Connect to a crisis counselor 24/7, 365 days a year, from anywhere in the U.S. The Trevor Project’s mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ young people.
YouthLine – A free teen-to-teen crisis support and help line. Teens available to help daily 6-12pm CT (adults are available by phone at all other times!). Call 877-968-8491, text "teen2teen" to 839863, or online chat. Confidential to a point. If a young person is unable to agree to safety for themselves or another person, or if abuse is occurring, YouthLine contacts other agencies to ensure the best support and safety for the young person in crisis.
