The Spring Hill Orchestra welcomes two soloists. Joining the orchestra to perform the first movement of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in Bb Minor is Daniel Colalillo. Mr. Colalillo is a New York based classical pianist, who has performed with the MK Symphony and the Purchase Symphony Orchestra and given solo recitals at Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, Columbia University, Princeton University, and Drew University, among others. Performing Charles Griffes’ Poem for Flute and Orchestra will be flute soloist Erin Erdos. A freelance publicist, graphic designer, and professional flutist based in Chattanooga. The orchestra also will play “The Moldau” by Bedr?ik Smetana, as well as selections from Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” Suite. Dancers from the Children’s Ballet Theatre of Spring Hill will join the orchestra for “Swan Lake.” There are no tickets for this event, but donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
