This month's speaker is Tammy LaPoint-O'Brien on "People with Disabilities: Valued Members of the 21st Century Workforce." Learn why hiring people with disabilities makes sense to your bottom line, and the value you, as an employer, receive in return. Register early. March 21 at 4 p.m. is the registration deadline.   3. Spring Hill Lawn and Garden Show at Rippavilla

    March 25, 2017, 9:00 AM - March 26, 2017, 4:00 PM @ Rippavilla Plantation

    The Spring Hill Lawn & Garden Show in The Barn at Rippavilla is billed as the cure to spring fever. The first 500 visitors will receive a free Virginia Christmas Pine seedling. There will be hands-on activities for children. Spend the day attending various demonstrations from Beekeeping 101 to garden techniques to Outdoor Smartphone Photograph. If you are shopping for a new lawn tractor then, perhaps, you'll be at the TriGreen booth. The show also will offer a few of Rippavilla's favorite antique and vintage dealers with yard and garden decor. Pappy’s Porch will be onsite serving hamburgers and barbecue sandwiches with their famous lemonade. While on site, tour the beautiful antebellum Rippavilla Plantation mansion and stop by Spring Hill Bakery located in the gift shop. Rippavilla, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all monies raised benefit the preservation and interpretation of Rippavilla Plantation Inc.

    The Spring Hill Newcomers Social is hosted quarterly at Mockingbird Restaurant as a chance to mix and mingle, invite friends and neighbors, and get to know one another in your community. The March 30 social also will be a chance to meet Spring Hill Mayor Rick Graham. The event includes an open buffet and drink specials.
