Angio-screening open to City employees & public

An Angio-screen is being offered 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 12 at the Winchester Building on Maury Hill St. by the City of Spring Hill Wellness Committee in coordination with TriStar Heart Network. It's available to all City employees and the public.

Garbage route delayed, recycling not being collected, Feb. 16-21

Waste Management will run garbage collection routes Thurs., Fri. and Sat., but is running 3 days behind because of recent icy conditions. Recycling will not be collected this week. Both regular routes will resume starting Monday, Feb. 23.

Bomb Squad detonates blasting caps brought to Spring Hill Fire Station

Fire Station 1 and the U.S. Post Office on Beechcroft Road were evacuated this afternoon, and the road temporarily closed, while authorities investigated wired blasting caps brought to the station. THP Bomb Squad was called in to detonate the caps.
