Spring Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant wins two-state region award

Wastewater Treatment Plant Award

The Kentucky-Tennessee Water Environment Association’s 2017 award in the category of “Utility - Beneficial Reuse of Effluent Water” was given to the City of Spring Hill’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, which annually sends the neighboring golf course over 40 million gallons of clean, treated effluent water released from the plant.

Vice Mayor Bruce Hull presented the award to Plant Superintendent Travis Massey at the Spring Hill BOMA work session on Monday, Aug. 7. Congratulations to our outstanding team at the wastewater plant for operating one of the finest facilities in the two-state region!
