Rippin Run logo

Rippavilla Plantation in Spring Hill will be transformed into a muddy masterpiece with the inaugural “Rippin Run” on Saturday, Aug. 6. Participants can get messy while supporting the American Cancer Society and Rippavilla in either a family friendly, one-mile mud run, or a 5-K obstacle course.
The local band, Nothen Short, will provide live country/Southern rock music.
Registration for Rippin Run begins at 7 a.m. and all ages are invited to stomp through the muck at 8 a.m. Messy games and awards are slated from 9 to 11 a.m. Folks will find all the untidiness at the back of Rippavilla Plantation, 5700 Main St. in Spring Hill.
Registration for children 12 and under is $25 and each adult is $30. The fee includes a T-shirt, choice of the one-mile or 5-K course, sloppy games and a tug-of-war. Register today by contacting Pam Perdue at 931-486-9037 or rippavilla@bellsouth.net.
